Rebecca is a seasoned professional with almost 20 years of experience in planning and community engagement. She is a member of DVRPC’s Office of Safe Streets focused on projects related to traffic safety and the regional vision zero goal. She also chairs the American Planning Association, PA Chapter Healthy Communities group; a mix of planners and health care professionals exploring the social determinants of health for instance in the State Health Improvement Plan and active transportation. Past endeavors include working in emergency management for the City of Philadelphia, transit safety and security for transit agencies (or their state oversight) nationally, supporting county, state, and federal mitigation planning. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys painting, erratic gardening, and teaching her kiddo the benefits of multimodal choice.
