Programs
Each academic year, students representing health and social service disciplines, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, social work, creative arts in therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pharmacology, public health, law, physician assistant, veterinary medicine, and related fields, take part in BTG.
The Community Health Internship Program (BTG CHIP) is a summer intensive community-based experience for health and social service professionals-in-training that provides direct service to communities.
The Seminar Series features guest speakers and experts on the root causes of today’s public health issues and is open to BTG CHIP students, alumni, community partners, and the rest of the BTG Network.
The Community Health Rotation offers an interdisciplinary experience providing advanced students the opportunity to become more skilled in collaborative community clinical service for underserved populations.

Students who complete all three components of the Bridging the Gaps Program graduate from their schools or universities as a Bridging the Gaps Community Health Scholar.
- Completion of Community Health Internship Program (BTG CHIP)

- Completion of a BTG Community Health Rotation at one of the BTG clinical sites
