On November 12, 2025, BTG hosted a rapid response Seminar focused on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and practical ways to support neighbors in need.
We were honored to welcome Hoa Pham, Deputy Secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services’ Office of Income Maintenance. Hoa oversees policy and administration for programs that provide stabilizing support for nearly 3 million Pennsylvanians, including SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and LIHEAP. Drawing on her experience as a lifelong public servant and her deep commitment to equity, Hoa shared insights on how these programs work, why they matter, and what each of us can do to help ensure access for those who need it most.
This seminar reflects BTG’s mission to respond to urgent community needs and equip health and social service professionals with knowledge that drives action.
